Selected individual will manage technical projects and technical support for a sales region. Researches, collects and reports information on the selection of adhesive products, specification of manufacturing processes / equipment, and troubleshooting / failure analysis. Reviews and reports on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment. Aids in the design and development of equipment, systems and redesign to existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers. Will work as a technical liaison with customers, sales, marketing, manufacturing and PD. Provide technical training and engineering support to close business, identify new product development opportunities, trouble shoot and provide equipment functionality and capability reports. Travel required up to 30% depending on business needs.

What we offer

  • Design and implement programs to develop the technical data needed to support the use of Henkel Product technology.
  • Provide technical training to Henkel staff and customers
  • Identify new opportunities for product development and work with development project teams to bring these opportunities to market
  • Travel with sales representatives to develop first-hand understanding of customer needs and application details.
  • Develop and maintain a Henkel Product specialty and serve as a technical expert in this specialty when working with staff individually and/or on team efforts.

Who we are looking for

  • B.S. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other Technical degree with a good level of English.
  • One to three years of demonstrated related experience in manufacturing and statistical analysis, preferably in an adhesive environment.
  • Customer support experience (providing product application training).
  • Demonstrated project management and laboratory skills.
  • Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership, sense of urgency, self-starter – takes the initiative.
  • Potential for up to 30% overnight travel per year.
  • Passion for innovation.
